About 65 vendors offering free flu shots, hearing tests and health screenings will fill the Flower Mound Senior Center on Friday, Sept. 11.
The Seniors in Motion Auxiliary hosts the free event from 9 a.m. to noon at 2701 West Windsor Dr. Encompass Health is the presenting sponsor. The fair is open to adults 50 and older across southern Denton County, the Cross Timbers Gazette reported.
Vendors will cover health and wellness, nutrition, fitness, caregiving, finances, insurance, home health care, hospice and senior housing. Participating organizations include FirstLight Home Care of Flower Mound.
Attendees can pick up a bingo card at the door. Completing it earns an entry into a drawing for door prizes donated by vendors.
The Seniors in Motion Auxiliary, a program under the Town of Flower Mound, has held the health fair every year since 2017, skipping only 2020. The town's Seniors in Motion page lists the event on its calendar. Residents can call 972-874-6110 for questions.
