Flower Mound police are asking residents to help identify a suspect who allegedly keyed eight vehicles at Parker Square on July 20.

The vandalism spree happened around 3 p.m. across multiple parking lots at the Flower Mound shopping center, according to a Flower Mound Police Department Facebook post published Aug. 25. The department said it is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest in what it called an ongoing criminal mischief investigation at the Parker Square complex.

Investigators believe the suspect drives a 2017-2020 silver Nissan Rogue. The department released images of the person of interest along with the tip request.

Eight vehicles were damaged in the incident, according to Hive Bakery, a Parker Square business whose own car was among those hit. The bakery shared the suspect's image on Facebook and urged anyone with information to come forward.

The case is classified as criminal mischief, a property-crime charge under Texas law that can range from a misdemeanor to a felony depending on the total dollar amount of damage. With eight vehicles allegedly keyed by the same individual, repair costs could add up quickly for victims.

The tip request came more than five weeks after the July 20 incident. No arrest has been made and the suspect remains unidentified.

Cross Timbers Gazette reporter Micah Pearce reported Aug. 25 that FMPD announced the search on social media after investigators had gathered enough evidence to release images of the person of interest to the public.

Parker Square, a mixed-use shopping center in Flower Mound, houses restaurants, retail shops and professional offices. The complex has multiple parking areas, and police have not specified which lots were affected.
