A wood-fired pizza joint focused on takeout and delivery opened Monday, Aug. 10, at the corner of FM 2499 and Lakeside Parkway inside the Lakeside DFW development.

Vivo Pizzeria, at 2400 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 160, is the second restaurant concept from the team behind DeVivo's Eatery in Keller. Owner Brian Strayer's new spot serves wood-fired pizzas, a chicken parm sandwich, lemon pepper wings and cinnamon bites, all built around pickup and delivery rather than a traditional dine-in experience, according to the Town of Flower Mound. Limited seating is available inside.

The opening caps a roughly two-month sprint since DeVivo's Eatery announced the Flower Mound expansion on social media in June, originally targeting a mid-July launch, according to the Cross Timbers Gazette. The pizzeria said on social media Aug. 10 that the team had been working toward the moment for months and thanked supporters throughout the process.

DeVivo's Eatery, at 750 South Main St. in Keller, operates as a scratch kitchen serving Italian and American comfort food and house-baked goods. Strayer's Flower Mound concept narrows that range to a fast, delivery-friendly pizza menu.

Vivo Pizzeria joins a growing restaurant corridor at Lakeside DFW that added Los Caminos Modern Cocina in January 2025 and Branded Bowls in September 2025. The recently completed Thirty-One Eleven Sunset residential tower at Lakeside Village has brought new residents directly above the dining strip, and the weekly Lakeside Music Series draws foot traffic to the shops every Friday evening through November.

Online ordering is available at vivopizzeria.com for pickup and delivery.
