Sophomore wide receiver Caleb Steen leads the Marcus Marauders in receiving yards per game through four weeks of the 2026 season.

Steen, a 5-foot-8, 140-pound sophomore who wears No. 3, has averaged 62.5 receiving yards per game and scored two touchdowns, including one receiving, according to MaxPreps. His early production earned him a feature segment in Marcus Online Broadcasting's Season 11 premiere, which aired Saturday, Sept. 26.

Marcus is 2-2 overall.

The Marauders opened with a 41-38 overtime win over Northwest on Aug. 28, fell 22-17 at Martin on Sept. 4 and beat Pearce 45-14 on Sept. 11. A 40-7 loss at Lewisville on Friday, Sept. 25, dropped Marcus to 0-1 in district play.

Marcus hosts Hebron in a district game Friday, Oct. 2.

M.O.B. launches Season 11

The student broadcast program, known as M.O.B., published its September show with anchors Jayda Jones and Juliana Vick. The episode covered four segments beyond the Steen profile: a behind-the-scenes look at the theater department's Metamorphoses production, the robotics team's preparation for its competitive season and a balloon challenge between football players and the Marquettes dance team.

Ryan Jeffers leads the 2026-27 M.O.B. staff as executive producer. Alysson Martinez and Alyssa Farr serve as assistant executive producers.

Theater opens with Metamorphoses

The broadcast featured the theater department's Metamorphoses, a play by Mary Zimmerman based on the myths of Ovid. The production was the department's first show of the 2026-27 school year and ran Sept. 17-20 in the Black Box Theatre. Auditorium construction forced the school to route audiences through the main cafeteria doors.

The robotics segment highlighted the team's preparation for a new competitive season. Marcus hosted the FIRST LEGO League State Championship in March.

No air date for M.O.B. Episode 2 has been announced.
