Flower Mound families can get an up-close look at police cruisers, fire trucks and public works rigs when the Town holds its Truck Rodeo on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The event runs 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane, according to a Town of Flower Mound civic alert. No registration is required.
Vehicles from five Town departments will be on display: the Flower Mound Police Department, the Flower Mound Fire Department, Animal Services, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works. The Town said attendees can see the equipment staff members use daily. The event is open to kids of all ages.
The Town's online calendar includes a partial weather contingency note for the Truck Rodeo, but the full cancellation policy was not available as of Sept. 13.
